NPC Followers based on the hosts characters?

Listening to Episode 22 during the commute, I was thinking wouldn't it be fun to have hosts favorite characters available as followers in game. Like finding joe's two-handed orc in the orc strongshold and recruiting him as a follower, or evarwyn's khajiit thief in the Cistern and running into one of lou's many alts in the bannered mare. What do you guys think?

I have some experience with using the Creation Kit to create npc followers based on save files.

I think that would be really cool to do, especially if Evarwyn/Joe/Lou/Dave voice their characters.
