Stuck in a dungeon!!!

I'm stuck in Volskyyg passages. I think that's the right name. A door shut behind me so I can't turn around and the boss wipes the floor with me! I'm only level 21 with this charater.

By the way, Hi Im knew. I love the show obviously, and I play skyrim.

I'm not familiar with that dungeon, but with some ingenuity I think just about any enemy in Skyrim is beatable. I don't know what equipment you have, but now is the time to strategize and do some trial and error. There is no shame in dying in Skyrim. Just ask Wiget!

Yeah, Volskygge (damn these wacky Nord spellings for everything; do they have a vowel shortage in this province or what?). I assume you've made it to the boss room where there is a Draugr Death Overlord sitting on a throne at the top of a flight of stairs, and you're trapped in there until you either kill him, or sneak around him and out the door at the rear of that room.

I'm not sure what your character's skills are, so I can't make a recommendation as to how you should handle this boss, but if you're level 21 at least you're high enough that he can't use the Disarm shout on you. (If you're under level 20, that's the first thing he does, and you'll quickly find yourself without any weapons. RRRGH.)

Do you have any fire spells? Of all magic attacks, Draugr are weakest to fire, so if you can draw him out into the bigger hall and kite him up and down the big staircase while hiding behind the stone blocks, it's possible to keep hitting him with spells while avoiding his attacks. YouTube has a number of videos showing how to do this.

If you have a high level of sneak, it's possible to hug the corners of the room and sneak right around him without even waking him up. Unfortunately, once you do that and leave the ruin by the back door, you'll find yourself in front of a word wall (for Whirlwind Sprint), which immediately wakes up a Dragon Priest, who will riddle you with ice spikes. If you can't handle him either, my recommendation is to unlock the shout (if you have a dragon soul to spare), and immediately use the shout to RUN FOR IIIIIIIIT!!!!!

For the record, I F$%&ING HATED VOLSKYGGE until I achieved level 40 and already had Legendary Dragonplate armor and daedric weapons. By that time, I was able to walk right up to both bosses and hack them into tiny little pieces. But as a level 17 Imperial with crappy equipment who had no idea what he was doing? NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE. (I ended up using console commands to kill everything because I COULDN'T STAND IT ANYMORE%+{`#$+%{&`#+${&).

If you're referring to the Dragon Priest, Volsung, once you escape the actual dungeon and reach the peak of the mountain where Volsung and the Word Wall is, you can always opt to flee down the side of the mountain. I don't think the Dragon Priest will try to follow you, unlike another one on top of a different mountain. Once your character gets stronger, you can climb back up the mountain all the way back to the Word Wall.

If you're talking about the Draugr Deathlord (or Death Overlord?) inside, you may have to do a lot of "hit-n-run" and heal and wear him down. If you have all three words for the Unrelenting Force shout, definitely use that to toss him around and get some easy hits. If you have an Amulet of Talos, it reduces the charge time for your shouts and might come in handy here.

Done it I snuck past the lord and ran away from the priest after getting the shout.

Sounds like I am in trouble then - I am only lvl 10 and stuck beyond the gates and cant get past the Deathlord. Damn.
