Vampire Playstyle

Hey does anyone think that being a vampire has any purpose whatsoever? I am currently an infected Argonian, but I use it to make the game more difficult rather than make my character more of a BA. I hope that the whole vampire lord thing from the GameJam video becomes a reality because if not then being a vampire seems to be more of a detriment to your character's abilities, rather than a booster of sorts.
