So now I have appropriated the funds to construct my first, true Ultra Super Mega Deluxe Thermanukular Hollycost Gaming Monster Ebony Daedric Dragonplate Computer-O-Tron (USMDTHGMEDDCOT) (Legendary). It will be positively frightening to behold, a fine-tuned Skyrim rendering locomotive that will eat frame rates for breakfast, brunch on textures, and basically churn out the story of the Dragonborn in the resplendent glory its creators intended.

I am timing the launch of this Bugatti Veyron of personal computing to coincide with the release of the new Intel CPUs this month, and my recent video card purchase. The assembled hardware will be:

- Asus Sabertooth Z77 motherboard
- Intel i7 3770K overclocked to the 4.3-4.5GHz range via existing air cooling with future expansion to liquid cooling for overclocks possibly reaching 5GHz
- G.Skill TridentX DDR3 2666MHz 4GB x 4 (with motherboard in high-speed memory mode)
- 120GB SSD drive (SATA 6GB/s) running Windows 7 Enterprise, with existing 1TB HDD
- AMD Radeon HD 7970
- 800W power supply to replace the 600W one that will likely poop out when trying to run all this hardware under full load
